Agreements have many names and uses
There are many kinds of agreements used in schools

- Provides background information

People work together to achieve certain outcomes. On doing so they are more
likely to be successful if they have reached agreement on
- The goal - what is to be achieved
- Its begin date and review date
- Who will coordinate the agreement
- The background - why a plan or agreement is important
- The elements of the plan - who will contribute what
- Progress reports - how things
- Signatories: who are the signatories
To manage an agreement
Click on the Agreements tab on the student's record
- Create the agreement by completing the form
- Click on the Agreement button above and have it signed if appropriate
- Return from time to time to record progress
- Celebrate the completion of the agreement by acknowledging achievements
and contributions
- Tick off when completed
Monitoring
There are reports and forms for keeping track of agreements. These need to be
used regularly by senior staff to ensure that those responsible for the
management of the agreements are receiving adequate support.
